Educational Officer Visits ERC

Kellie Turtle, Educational Officer for the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission recently visited Edmund Rice College.

As part of their Learning for Life and Work GCSE, all Year 11 Students have been studying the NIHRC. Kellie answered many questions from the boys about the Bill of Rights and also provided a presentation demonstrating the work of the Commission and the human rights that affect young people. Kellie said afterwards ‘It was fantastic to deliver our key messages to the boys from Edmund Rice and hear from them. They were great hosts and we hope to come back next year.’
